My boyfriend was just approved for Parole. He had set up a bed for himself at the Las Vegas Community Corrections Center. A few weeks later the release coordinator informed him that they are no longer accepting that facility because it is state funded for only 2 weeks & the dept of parole & probation has been complaining about the paper work that they have been doing to transfer parolees to other locations.
Thankfully his father stepped up & agreed to put a deposit down at another facility to hold a bed for him. I believe its was $325, but I'm not sure.
He'll be going to

Are you sure that this list is up to date?

When I was searching for The Launching Pad, Inc., 1465 Sbragia Way, Sparks, NV 89431, (775) 358-9824, what I found was: The Launching Pad Empowerment Center, 7400 South Virginia Street, Reno, NV 89511. And this seams to be just for clients with a substantial abuse history and not for prisoners in general!

And when I was searching for "People at Crossroads Halfway House" on the web I found nothing at all!

The thing with "Convenant of Love" is also confusing. At one website I found the following information:

Name Covenant Of Love
Mailing Street 1213 Balzar Ave
Mailing City Las Vegas
Mailing State NV
Mailing Zip 89106
Beds 6
Contact Clora M. Edwards
Other Six (6) Beds For Residential Facility For Groups For Elderly Or Disabled Persons Category 2
Category Adult Group Care-Residential Group Care or Assisted Living Facility (AGC)

At other websites I found the following address without further information:

Covenant Of Love Uul Corporation

(http://www.manta.com/c/mmyk820/covenant-of-love-uul-corporation)408 Eldorado Hills Court
Las Vegas, NV 89110-5646

Thanks for the information my guy just got to camp and 2 days later he was on the June Agenda. I was told when he first went in that he was Casa Grande eligible. Can he also go to one of these approved facilities? ( I know Casa granda doesn't have many beds.) And does he need to be an approved applicant when he appears or is that worked out after his parole is granted?
