Could you give me a little info about it???

I am confused... which really isn't that hard to accomplish!!

Are you asking about a prison in Washington State or is there a state prison in Georgia called Washington?

If you need the State of Washington info, here is the link to the prison profile sub-forum.

If I not, nevermind. LOL!!

What has worked for me in getting my BIL transferred closer to home, has been contacting the DOC in Atlanta. The person who I have talked with is named Mr. Wazniak (sic?) and the number is: (404)656-4987. Please note that an inmate at his present location, must be there more than 90 days before they will consider it.

most time they have to be where they are at 1 year and Dr free...

Wow, ok...I can't believe I am doing this. I have someone from my past who is currently at Washington SP. We were engaged before he went back in in October 2003. When he went back in, I couldn't deal anymore, I had to take care of me. Anyway I am older and wiser and despite all that we went through I still consider him a good friend and I would like to know about his well being. Can anyone get in contact with Jerry Johnson at Washington SP and let him know his old fiance is wondering how he and his family are doing. In case he's had several since then (and I really can't post my name here right now due to my past employment, which is why I really don't want to write him first either), I was 18 when we met, I was in school at Spelman, his niece Xhosa used to braid my hair and the last time he saw me I was living off Howell Mill Rd. I would love to get back in contact with him and build our friendship again and wish him the best.
If anyone could help, I would appreciate it.

My son is at Washington State Prison it's located in Davisboro, Ga. Well it's just like all the rest you get to visit 9 to 3 if it don't get crowded. The vending machines are high. No cash money all change in a clear plastic bag. They do a good search of you also you have to take off your shoes. They make sure you have nothing in your pockets so make sure you clear everything out your pocket and leave in the car.

My uncle is at Washington State Prison and they treat there them really bad!!!! They only feed them twice a day but the meals are hardly nothing. The guards are really bad and the warden is a complete jerk! Write me if you need anymore info on the prison!

My husband just transferred to this prison from DRay James in Folkston. Looking for any advice on it compared to where he was. Thanks

05-25-2010, 01:11 PM
JnV, All of your information is incorrect except for the several officers working at a few other facilities.

My son was transferred from Smith State prison, a close security prison, to Washington supposedly a medium security facility last night. What can you tell me about all the changes at Washington I've been reading about. My son should be up for parole in Dec. Any info would be greatly appreciated!!

A Really Worried Mom

Faithoo1, Have youheard any more about Washington State?

06-28-2010, 12:39 PM
My son is at Washington State Prison. They search when you go in taking off shoes lifting up pant legs. Four vending the one that has all the good stuff in it is always out of order. Telephone service is Global Tel-Link. If you need to know more just ask the question I will answer my son has been there about 3 years now. The prison is so out of reach like most of them are transportation is a problem but I'm working on it. Any questions I'm here for you. My son lost a lot weight since he's been there clothes alway yellowish looking because their clothes aren't washed that often but the last time I visit he looked a better his clothes was improvement but everyone is right the staff are jerks.

My son has been at washington for 6 months. the guards are very raciest there and they are very rude mostly women guards work there. this has been the worst place he has been in.thank god he only has a few more months left..he has been down since 2006 and turned 22 this year.and what i mean by raciest is my son in white.but from what he tells me they also down grade some of the other races also. guess cause they are women over a mens prison they think they can do that.the warden there is also very heartless and rude.

It's a shame the folks from Washington SP don't come here to read this. They probably don't know it exists. The reason there are so many women gaurds is because this was previously a women's prison. When they changed it a few years ago, they moved the inmates but didn't fire the staff. My son just got here about 9 mos ago and he said there is absolutely nothing to do and very little movement. This is suppose to be a medium security facility and they treat them worse than the max. guys. Go figure.

03-31-2011, 05:04 PM
They really do need to come here and read these threads. Most of the women guards are trying to sleep with the inmates or make there time hard if thry don't. It's a shame the folks from Washington SP don't come here to read this.
