Donating books to Coyote Ridge?

I want to donate books - anyone have experience doing this for inmates at Coyote Ridge? What kinds of books do they want? What kinds of books can I NOT donate?

I can tell you what the prison near me says - paperbacks, preferably crime fiction. I've handed on science texts, science fiction, biographies, gardening, baking, etc. I do know they don't like hard-covers.

How did I miss this?! Dictionaries are almost always welcome. You can get hold of the prison libraries through the Secretary of State's office, and some of them even have Amazon wish lists.

I fully realize the OP was from 2015 but someone else may come across this thread.

The Coyote Ridge facility has an up to date Amazon wish list at https://www.amazon.com/gp/registry/w...t/FZ9YQQUNKVDG
