Moved to Essex County Jail, need information, please!
I need some major help! My fiancé was taking to Essex County Jail yesterday. I am trying to call to locate him and I am getting no helpful answers. First they said he was quarantined, then I was told he may be moved to Delaney Hall. Then someone else told his parents he was in IRC. Does anyone know what IRC is? I am so lost. I have never dealt with Essex County before but they seem to be a mess. I tried to get visiting information and the man said I needed to wait a week and be on a list and then hung up on me before I could ask Anything else!!!!

I need information on the following if anyone can help please do!!
1. Inmate Location
2. Visiting information
3. Call information
4. Where to send letters
5. Commissary information

I'm thinking at this point i would be better off driving there. I live close so it wouldn't be a problem..I'm just upset and aggravated and want to find a way to find my hubby!!

Delaney Hall - Essex County. Halfway Back
My fiancé was moved there yesterday. I was told there is a 7 day blackout period before we can speak again. Is there anyone with any information to offer me. I’m literally begging.

I'm afraid I don't have definitive information for you. A 7 day blackout seems fairly standard in other areas though, so it wouldn't surprise me if this was true. They're usually waiting for the paperwork to catch up to the person.

Here's the information provided by Essex County Corrections for families of prisoners. It contains information about sending mail, money, phones, visits, etc.

All times are GMT -6. The time now is 08:24 PM.
