Southeast AZ parole
We met with the parole officer. None of the requirements were excessive. A mental health evaluation, sign up on job website, a resume, proof of fines being paid, the monthly parole fee, possibility of random drug tests, documentation showing he has applied for college, a copy of his ID, notification and a copy when he gets a DL. Mostly, it's been documenting stuff, and another visit with the officer in 2 weeks.

It is less onerous than the probation requirements he was under before going to prison.

He completed parole and was released from it successfully. We were finally able to stop worrying about the horror stories Mom has heard about parole.

Even though he is now "free and clear" so to speak, he starts to have an anxiety attack if he has to go anywhere near the police station (which he had to visit in one of his college class requirements). I don't think that will stop any time soon.
