I was approved to visit my MWI while he was at USP Canaan, but then he transferred to another USP and now I'm not approved to visit. So it really varies from prison to prison, wardens do things differently, so hopefully since your MWI is moving to a lower security your chances of being approved will increase, either way there is no harm in applying to visit and see what happens, wishing you the best of luck!!
