Worry Not

THIS MORNING I READ MATTHEW 6:25-34. THIS SCRIPTURE CAME RIGHT ON TIME FOR ME. SINCE THE CAR ACCIDENT I HAVE HAD IT PRETTY EASY AS I DIDN'T HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT ANYTHING EXCEPT FOR GETTING BETTER AND WAITING FOR MY SON TO BE BORN. NOW THAT I AM BETTER IT SEEMS THAT I'M BEING HIT EVERY WHICH WAY. I FOUND MYSELF WORRYING HOW MY BILLS ARE GOING TO BE PAID, WHETHER I SHOULD WORK OR GO TO SCHOOL, WHERE CAN I FIND DAYCARE TO PUT MY 3 YEAR OLD AND THE BABY AND OF COURSE MY MARRIAGE. I SHOULDN'T BE WORRYING ABOUT ANYTHING. I SHOULDN'T BECAUSE GOD HAS IT ALL IN CONTROL. HE'S THE ONE THAT SPARED ME AND MY CHILDREN'S LIVES WHEN WE WERE IN THE CAR ACCIDENT. HE'S THE ONE THAT SUSTAINED ME EVERYTIME I DIDN'T HAVE MONEY OR FOOD. HE'S THE ONE THAT HAS ALWAYS COME THROUGH FOR ME, EVEN WHEN I WASN'T BEING FAITHFUL TO HIM. I ENCOURAGE YOU TO GIVE IT ALL TO GOD. IN HEBREWS 13:5, IT TELLS US THAT GOD WILL NEVER LEAVE US NOR FORSAKE US. KNOWING THAT GOD NEVER LIES WE SHOULD BE RESTING IN HIS ARMS BECAUSE WE KNOW HE IS CARING FOR US. THE NEXT TIME YOU FIND YOURSELF WORRYING READ MATTHEW 6:25-34.



Matthew 6:25-34 (New International Version)
25"Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes? 26Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? 27Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life[a]?
28"And why do you worry about clothes? See how the lilies of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. 29Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. 30If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? 31So do not worry, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?' or 'What shall we wear?' 32For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. 33But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. 34Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

Amen!! Thank you for sharing that, it came just when I needed it. I swear everytime something is going on in my life that I feel I have no control over I open my e-mail or posts here on PTO and there sits my answer. The Lord is wonderful!
