I so can not believe it. I got a call this morning from a friend of eddies because the guards decided to push him down the stairs and broke his arm.

He told he he was ok but just had a broken arm, but now they are trying to give him a ticket that would push back his release date another 45 days

. He is already at his max time now...I just don't know what to do.

They started harassing him more because his sister called and made a complaint about the guards giving him a hard time and now i want to do the same but i know that will just give the guards more reason to hurt him

. I so don't know what to do, i just want him out of there, he only had 7 days left.

I am so sorry to read your post; the fact that this behavior is allowed to exist in the system just sickens me to the core. I would immediately contact massachusetts correctional legal services and ask to speak with lauren petit; 617-482-2773, ext 117; she personally deals with brutality incidents, it's one of their program priorities, and she knows the system well. She only takes calls on mondays and thursdays; email her also, at:
