Default The unknown unit
My husband is in the sanchez unit in El Paso. I swear i think he's the only one there. I am beginning to doubt that there is a prison there because i never hear of anyone having a loved one there. I live 500 miles from their and have not got to see my husband for over 3 months. Not alot of money and no way to go. I wrote and told him the other day that the next time he will see me i'll be in the rest home or drawing my social security.

Chris is in Bowie County Correctional Center in Texarkana, Texas till end of Jan then he gets transfered to Sherman, Texas for court on 2nd charge. Hopefully he'll get time served Were hoping.

My friend Jason is at Smith in Lamesa Texas. (BFE)

My ex brother in law is in Holliday. I am waiting on a letter back from him but I believe he gets out in April.

My husband is in McLennan County right now . . . just got sent on Tuesday for a 10 year sentence. Have no idea where he is headed after that. Some people are telling us he'll be in County for months, others are saying it may be just a few wks before they ship him outta here. Scared of the thought of him being far away.

I'm sorry to hear u so sad! But dont feel alone girl. my husband was in sanchez unit for almost 2 years now he is in segovia unit in edinburg TX, it is 16 hours away from me, i am in Albuquerque N.M, and havent seen my husband since April, and to top it off he was able to get a call tonight for x-mass and when he called me it requierd me to have a cc# and i didnt have one so i didnt get to talk to him, i balled my eyes out. but atleast i got to hear his voice for 1 quick min. i took for granted when he was inn El Paso it was only 3hrs away and cost about 300$ to go see him and that was with 2 kids sat & sun, now it would cost me over 1,000$ to go see him by myself! I miss him so much we have been together for ging on 22yrs, i was 15 & he was 18 when we met and we have 4 beutiful kids together. so dont feel alone. i am trying to find someone who has fam or friends inn segovia to get word to my husband so if you find or know plz inform me. we write but it takes 6 days to get to him and same for when he sends letters to me. this is why i am trying to find anuther way of contact. well hope to hear from you soon. keep your head up. all will be ok.

sorry your hubby is in elpaso .my son was there for 2 yrs, dont want to scar you but a really bad place to be. we only got to see him one time there because we live so far, and we had nothing but with the grauds they were just mean.

Im from el paso and yes it does exist lol my husband was there for a short period before they transferred him to gatesville

I am so sorry. This must be awful. I wish that I knew how to help. I thought I had problems. Do you have any idea why they sent him so far away? I will pray and I am sure others will too. One thing I know for sure is that nothing stays the same. Everything changes one way or the other.

I live in El Paso and there is a state jail but it is not very large. I believe they only have inmate there who are doing short term. It is expensive to travel but El Paso is cheaper than other cities in Tx. Hope you can see your hubby soon.

i live in el paso,,, my husband is at the annex right in front of Sanchez,, if only he could do his time there.... no chace of that,,, im sorry ur so far away............

thats really far, where do you drive from? my drive is from abilene, its about 5 1/2 hours, i go through dallas/ft worth, let me know if i can help you out anyway
