Today's Question
A state legislator will propose legislation to add two members to the nine-member state parole board – a Native American and a mental-health specialist. Last session, Gov. Mike Rounds also suggested legislation to add a Native American member to the board. The idea is that the positions would lend expertise to the board and help make inmates’ transition out of prison easier. Would such specific positions be beneficial to the parole board?

It's about time they got a native american on the parole board. Especially when you consider that one-third or the inmate population is Native.
