Well, I'm new to this site. I wish I was new to the difficulties that come with having a loved one in prison. Almost 6 years now. It's amazing to me that there are so many of you out there. I've felt so alone all these years. People don't forgive or forget very quickly in a small town. Even though it's been 6 years, it hurts like it was yesterday, and I don't expect it will ever get easier. He's in for life, without parole, and while we try to keep hope it gets hard. So here I am, trying to make some sort of peace and get through my day. I'd appreciate any advice/support anyone can offer. It helps to know there really are others who understand.
