I noticed your in Texas? Is your Man in the Canadian system?

If not your questions might be better answered in the U.S/Texas forum.

well im on bail right now, just did a 18 day little vacation in remand and now my courts comeing up. so pretty much here my charge : On Wednesday July 30, 2008 at approximately 4:50pm, two
culprits entered the Scotiabank located in the Midlake Blvd
SE Shopping Centre. Once inside the bank each culprit
approached a separate teller and presented a hold-up note
indicating they were armed, it was a robbery, and demanding
cash. The culprits were given an undisclosed amount of cash
and immediately exited the bank.

The CPS Robbery Unit has completed the investigation into
this robbery with the arrest of two individuals on September
25th, 2008. Charged with one count each of robbery under
section 344(b) CC

so yeah, the way we got arrested was we were flaged for questioning because of a annomunus tip off. In the interigaion I copped out(confessed) cause i was pretty much tricked into it. I no stupidness but whatever cant change the past now.

So now a month later and courts coming up all i got for defence is that i have no criminal record, i got a good complete family that i am currently living with, im going to therapy (court order), going to school to get my GED, staying out of trouble which goes hand in hand with going to probation, and that im 19 years old.

now im thinking im pretty much F'd and really not looking forward to whats comeing up , but really all i want right now is to know what im looking at in terms of time in prison or hopefully not in prison. Anything helps i guess, thanks

We don't have to read this thread if we don't want to know.
Obviously a lot of us won't discuss this topic, but if others want to then they should be free to.

Yeah we do but we can unsubscribe to threads we don't want to read.
Quite frankly your initial reply wasn't offering any advice about the original poster's privacy as much as just saying you don't want to read it.
I don't talk about my stuff, on the forum or in private messages, that's my personal preference, if someone comes on here and wants to talk details, as a decent human it's nice to let them know that it's not always safe and why, but just because you don't feel like reading it isn't a good enough reason in my opinion.
I don't really know what you're trying to get at with your last reply though.

I was just trying to say.... Don't post your personal stuff on the public forum.. (who knows, who is on here and taking note. Send private messages to us girls on here..... She will get a lot more responce. That's all.

Did you splash on here what your loved is in for ??? If you did, that's your choice. It is an indivdual choice......

I find that kind of contradictory - you say don't post your personal stuff on a public forum and then say if you did that's your choice, it's an individual choice. So let the individual make that choice.

Some people are quite comfortable talking about why their loved one is in jail/prison - some people need to. If someone wants to talk about it - I'll listen.

It's a scary situation, especially if you have never been through it before and that is why this board was created....for support, for people to find and talk to people who are going throught what they are. Wouldn't be much of a message board if people just PM'd.

No, you never know who is reading, but you never know who you are PM'ing either.

That really is a personal choice...not really yours to make about what other people do or do not do. My guy has already been tried and convicted....his info is no longer PRIVATE. It's online for the world to see. I don't have an issue saying what he's in for. But others may not want to "splash" that info around....and that is their choice. You are one who doesn't want to speak on it, and that's your right. I can't say I blame you. But it's not fair to try and tell others what to do....if they want to PM, they will.... if they want to post it here in this thread, they will....and if they want to keep quiet, they will

No I didn't, and my initial response to the OP says that a she may not have a lot of replies as to the 'why'.

I agree with you regarding posting details and personal info on the forum, and I don't feel PM is always a whole lot better because you usually don't really know who that is either.

LOL! Hey, this is one place you can go online and know you have at least one thing in common with everyone else! What more could you ask for?
OK, OK, I could ask for a lot (ie a million dollars in unmarked bills) but as far as talking to a great bunch of people without judgement? This place is tops!

I hear ya! A million dollars wouldn't hurt and yes, a place where people understand. It's a nice feeling. I know this place is an escape for me from the judgement.

wow. holy flame war. i guess we all have the choice to say why, or not... im not going to, but thats because i dont really feel like it would make me feel better, but im not about to sit back and judge someone who wants to share.... really we are all annon here... nobody is using a full name, also we have forums on this site specifically for supporting those dealing with loved ones charged with "violent" or "sex offender" crimes... so im not really sure how we got off topic. i did read this thread out of curiosity.... but im rather sad for the OP.... no harm no foul in my opinion.... and mines in till november 2012 cuz he broke the law too!! lol but hes my outlaw <3
