LINCOLN — Kathleen Hawk Norman believed 12 years ago that she had done the right thing as forewoman of a jury that convicted a man of murder and sentenced him to death. Four years later, she realized prosecutors had withheld evidence indicating that the man, Dan Bright, was innocent. His conviction was overturned in 2004.
