my husband has been in the johnston safp unit since june 08 he has not been gave any info on his release date or where he will go, does anyone out there have helpful info for me.

I would go to the texas forum and see if they have a site that usually has this type of info, like a DOCS site

The only thing I know is my daughter went into SAFP in April 2008. She got a release date of January 17th but that has been pushed out till March 29th because the HWH she is going to is backed up. From what I understand, this scenerio is true for everyone. But, according to her, they cannot keep them over 365 days in all. Oh, by the way, my daughter is in a special needs unit which is 9 months instead of 6. That could be the difference too.
