Default Frequency of home visits

For regular supervised probation how often are home visits conducted? I was under the impression it was only when I moved, but someone showed up today. Also all three times this woman has given me a breathalizer, however I do not have the "no alcohol" as one of my conditions.

From experience probation can come by and check up on you when ever they feel like it. there is no set amount astowhen they can come by and do home inspections. and I would double check and make sure ther is no alcohol as one of your conditions.

Regular supervised probation, a check will occur. could be one day and then the next, and then nothing for 3 months.

up to the probation.

if they come by and no one is home, and that is a recurring problem, they will ask why. but its not a bad thing. they will eventually start calling ahead to make sure your home if that countinues.

if he is a son/daughter --> different rules apply, then if you are his partner. if your the partner, then the whole house is subject to his conditions. including alchol. having it, even if it is not a condition, puts extra stress on the probationee, because she will require blow tests more frequently etc.

if your his parent or whatever, then his room is subject to search only. also, any common area he may hang out in. Kitchen/his bathroom/ living room. they do not have the authority to search your private bedroom ( I have heard of this happening before however. so it depends.

I was a little bit confused by this last response. I am the probationer, allowed to consume alcohol, and I receive the breathalizer every time. It comes back 0.0 anyway, but it's the principle of it. The lady that comes by isn't my p.o. She does go into every room including my child's. She asks questions that have nothing to do with my probation, like do I think I'm going to reconcile with my spouse. I was a little flustered and upset by the questioning on such a personal level but my anxiety was perceived and reported back as "getting crazy" with her. Spouse has nothing to do with my conviction or my probation and it's an invasion of his privacy. I have provided my current phone number, but she called my old one more than one time now asking for me.

It sounds like a surveillance officer is assigned to you. If you look closely at your probation terms, it might say something like not to consume alcohol to excess. If your smart, you won't consume alcohol while your on probation. What's excess? It's anything the SO or PO calls it. So if you blow anything besides zeros it could be called excess. Also, they can visit as often and at any weird hour that comes to their mind. I was on a lengthy probation in AZ and if you let it, it can really start to work on your mind. Don't let it.
