Default Also...

The Parole Officer can add additional conditions to the above attached. They call them the 12A's. The most common ones are. 1) No contact with past victims of the offense, victims, or persons having an active order of protection. 2) Can not drive without Parole Officer consent. (this is an DMV and insurance issue) and 3) Not to associate with persons that have been convicted of a crime or having a criminal record. (this is mostly a GANG issue). Sex offenders have a whole slew of added conditions. Interstate offender (offenders that are doing parole in AZ) also have to follow their sending states conditions as well as AZ's.

My husband has a valid license and current insurance. If they currently have a valid license and valid insurance in their name would they still have this as a condition?

Default Driving.

One thing is if the current offense is for DUI, then the PO still may not allow it. If it was a DUI with a child in the car... well I'm sure you can guess. But with that said. If he has a current DL issued AFTER he got out, then it should not be a problem, unless it's a past crime thing..

With unemployment at such a high rate right now, what is the policy for having a job? I know the conditions state that you have to be actively seeking employment, but what does that mean really? Can the state take you back to prison for the rest of your sentence if you can't get a job in this environment?? Obviously it is near impossible to get a job right now and then compound it with being a felon....

When I talked to my husbands PO he asked if he planned on working I said yeah if he can find a job that will hire him !?! so he was like well i'll just put down no he won't be working and if he finds a job then he can just let me know...so its obvious they know how hard it is to find work.. I don't know if it varies from PO to PO but his was ok with the fact of him not working....but my husband does plan on trying to find employment...

I was asking Force because I know of someone that has been threatened by their PO that if he doesn't find a job within the next two weeks, that he will go back to prison.....

Default Threats of revocation

It is highly unlikely that the PO will revoke him, but with that said, it depends on other issues (violations) that he has, if he is boarder line being sent back without the job issues, the lack of a job MAY push it over and result in RTC. With the job market the way it is today, there are jobs out there. The issue is if the parolee's want to take the jobs that are out there. ie.. Mcdonalds, Talco Bell, etc.. Some parolees will not take jobs, that don't pay above what they think they are worth. It's a pride thing. If someone is stating that they can't find a job, they are just not looking. Also, the PO should have some leads on jobs, the state is mandated by State Law (ARS) to help offenders locate or secure a job. The key word is "help" not "get one" for them.
