Default My earlier Hell at the gates of Fuchu

My name is Adam and I was in Fuchu from 1999 - 2003 I have just come across this other forum and registered here.
The thing I want to ask all the ex-Fuchu lads who are exgagerating there case, why do you need to do this because the truth is enough. And in answer to a couple of reasons why Nick Baker got such a hard time ( he arrived 6-8 months before I left) A) he pled Not Guilty even though he new he was Guilty. And he didn't want it getting back to his family that he decided to do the crime. When you pleed not Guilty you are then isolated until the end of your case. He would of got 3-5 years of the sentence. This is partly why he had it so hard.
Another person said exactly the case. If you except your crime which we all new we were doing then you could concentrate about getting through it. But when you don't except the crime you are only Lieing to yourself and this makes it hard all round.
I excepted my time but I had a hard time because I was\always trying to get one over on them for a flash of happy. So I only had 280 days punishment in the first 3 years then I got a bit more sensible.
And in answer to another man he says the regime guarantees you do not do it again. Maybe in Japan but come on very few of us don't have that many options about doing other naughty things. I will know I have just got out of Korneuberg Prison in Austria after 2 and half years. The only thing was Austria was a fairly good prison but when I got transfered to Wandsworth in London this was worse the Austria but I must admit if the transfer system started while I was in Japan then i would of transfered back to England iot wasn't possable then. Least Japan is repatrating prisoners now.

Hi Adam,

Welcome to PTO and the Asia Pacific forums.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts and experiences. I expect that everyone has their own way of coping with their situation.

Best of luck to you as you rebuild your life.

And once again, welcome to PTO.

Default Favourite Factory

Has to be the Leather making factory as the job was slightly more interesting. But I was punished over 280 days so I was moved around or in Isolation a lot. The only factory I couldn't get into was the air conditioned or heated factory. There is only one!!!! And only the very good boys who couldn't keep there mouth shut went there.
Another story

The only factory that had aircon if I remember correctly was factory 20 that housed the print shop and produced the high quality paper bags for several Japanese department stores.

Yon Kojo mate - they put all the nutters in there, way worse than the other factories. Only the decent geezers go to yon kojo mate so you are sounds as a pound. Is the bulldog still running the floor or is he up on the tantodai now ?

Sounds like they gone soft in Fuchu :-)

Do you still get the mint gel on your fingers during the winter after the showers to stop the frostbite ?

Must admit when I was there I was able to stay in the Japanese part of the prison on the other side from the gaijin han and it was wicked.

They threw me out into the gaijun section in 93 - with beds and all which was weird.
