My honey gets released Saturday. Does he go to the PO office that day even if it's a weekend? Do they work weekends?

I think I'll call her Monday but I just want to make sure everything goes smoothly.

I think he goes Monday. Id call the office just to be safe and if anything when he gets out call as well and leave a message if there is a voice mail.

I'd talk to the PO before his release to find out for sure. I'd say get whatever the PO says in writing, but that's kind of hard over the phone. Maybe you can email them?

I thought they weren't releasing on the weekends anymore, Alex's? Not sure where I heard that, but thought I did at some point. But anyways, that's awesome that he comes home so soon! I would call the PO's office on Friday-just to double check that they aren't going to trip if they don't see him until Monday. Best wishes to you guys!

I called Eyman and they transferred me to records and they said he was good to go for Saturday

but then again the lady told me I'm not sure if they get out at 5:30a, 7a or 8am.

I chuckled and was polite but said "um that's a big difference in waiting time. Could you find out for me?" LOL

She finally seemed confident with the 8am time.

I think I'll double check Monday on the PO thing AND his release.

The release time I don't care how early it is!!! LMAO if they'd let me, I'd camp out like we were waiting to buy tickets for a rock concert Haha!

I heard the same thing...that they weren't releasing on weekends anymore because their PO ain't there! Oh well, maybe they'll let him check in with his PO on Monday.

If it were me, I'd camp out there overnight!!

LOL, my husband said they used to be able to request in advance to get released at midnight and he always said he wanted to do that! I can just imagine rolling up there at midnight!

Good, I'm glad to hear that it's a go for Saturday. I have heard that 8am is pretty much the standard release time, too. But I think it's smart to do what you said and call Monday, just to double check.

Depending on his public risk score. If he is released on weekends then 8AM on monday is the report time.

The last thing you want to do is get in a he said/she said with the probation department. I would contact them ahead of time and document what they tell you and the first & last name of who you spoke with.
