I have a friend in tent city who asked me to send him some books and magazines. I looked through the forums and did a search, but did not find the information I needed. Any help would be appreciated

1. How do I address the book or magazine?

example:
Name - Booking#
2939 W. Durango Street
Phoenix, AZ 85009

Is this correct? Do I also need the housing unit number?

2. Who are the approved vendors for Tent City?

example: Amazon, Barnes and Noble

Are there any others like half dot com? Can I send both paperback and hard cover?

3. Can I send magazines?

example: People, Us

Do I have to send the magazines directly through the company or can I use another approved vendor? Are there any suggestions for another vendor?

I did some more research and found the answers to my questions. I hope it will help some of you out.

example: Amazon, Barnes and Noble

Answer
Amazon and Barnes and Noble are the only approved vendors. You can only send Paperback books

3. Can I send magazines?
example: People, Us
Do I have to send the magazines directly through the company or can I use another approved vendor? Are there any suggestions for another vendor?

Answer
You can send Magazines but they must be sent from Amazon or Barnes and Noble delivery usualy stats in 3-4 weeks of purchase
