Talking Branded with my love

I just wanted to share this with you guys (seems I want to share everything with you all these days)

I spoke to Stephen tonite and he told me he had put MY NAME under the tattoo he already had..he assured me everything was very clean which was my first concern(Praying he doesnt get some kind of infection) But the reason I am posting it is because Our relationship had been quite rocky for the past year (bad communication--funny how all we have is communication now) I had always teased him about getting a tatoo with my name and he had always refused and joked that it wasnt him to have a name on his arm..Outwardly I laguhed about it but it really hurt that he didnt want to "proclaim" his love for me(immature I know but...) So when he told me that I cried and he said he was sorry for being an ass for the past year and all that had gone on...he said he values and cherishes me more than ever now and it felt real good to hear that...we had become so comfortable with eachother and now I feel like he is my "boyfriend" again if you know what I mean..like we are IN love again...Well that is my silly little story that I wanted to share with you guys...hope I didnt bore you TOO much..hahaha...

Not bored at all....It's nice to hear about good feelings in a bad situation. Are you going to get a tattoo with his name now?

You know sometimes when you share your stories I feel like I am talking to myself. It is unreal at times. Anthony tattooed my name on him.. See I beat him to the punch I got his name on me in Sept. I never wanted anyones name besides my babies on my body. yet I got anthony's strange how that works huh..

I am glad that you to are falling back in love with one another funny how GOD does things sometimes huh!! It is nice to see some good come out of this maddness... Keep it up and thanks for sharing.

I think some of your would be shocked at some of the "ink" they sling in the joint.. I was tempted to get one from a partner of mine while I was there. He is a pro that owned (probably owns again) his own shop in Utah. I just didn't want to risk the Hepetitis C that is rampant in there. That's not to say that if you get a jail-house tatt you will get it.. I just didn't want to risk it..
Amelia, yes.. they do hurt.. but they are addictive big time!

This is my first post on this site. I'm glad that I found you all. My boyfriend, Billy had my name tattooed on him right after he was moved to the federal facility. He told me that he had a surprise for me. When I visited he said, "look" and to my amazement, it was my name on the inside of his wrist. I was shocked but happy!!

Denise... Welcome!! Hope to see more posts from you...
Amelia... on the tattoo issue... make sure it is a design you like and make sure you put it somewhere you will be comfortable with it being FOREVER... I now have one tattoo, the design for which I had for 2 years before I actually had it tattooed on me (figured if I still liked it for that long, it was worth doing....) I put it on my chest, in a place where it is covered most of the time, but where I can show it off when I want to... But they are addictive... I can't wait to get another... am seriously considering getting one of the graphic I use for my avatar... of course JD had a suggestion about where I could put it, but I won't share that...

Hey I have to laugh about JD Well it is less painful on the breast mostly becuase there a fat there. Make sure you really want to get it. Yes the are addictive I now have 9 of them. It has taken me 12 years to get them all. So just remember it is forever. I used to tattoo on the side at WYLD BILLS in CA. So I have see a lot of stuff. You would be surprised.

Just think about it and get the pattern drawn up way before you get it done. Anthony just got one which is tight but I think he is not going to like it latter but I could be wrong.

It is amazing how you feel when you see your husband/loved one tattoo your name on them. It really just shows you something that maybe they were not able to say. It will be daily reminder of there love and the committment they are willing to make. I think it is a great token of love.

My husband surprised me with an angel with my name under it that he tattooed on his inner forearm himself just before Christmas. I am going to get his name tattooed on me - just not sure where yet! I was going to it done on my ring finger but a friend told me they go 'bad' (fuzzy or something) quite quick so I will have to reconsider. I only have one tattoo to date - a lizard on my left foot

Amelia, my husband surprised me by having my name put on his arm. This after telling me for the past 5 years he would NEVER get another tattoo. At the time he only had one, he now has 4.

I'm curious as to where you have had your men's names put on you? Did you have some type of art done also/included with the name? (yeah I'm thinking about it too)

I had the chinese symbol for loyalty put on my ankle with my hubbies initial under it. He didn't want me to get it, cause he hates tattoos on women, but I really wanted to. IT HURT LIKE HEEEELLLLLLL!!!!!!!!!!!! I won't be doing that again.

I was planning on getting Darrells name tattooed on my breast where my heart is. because that is where my baby is. he told me not to do it....he's a muslim and muslims aren't supposed to get any tattoos. so now he doesn't want me to get any neither. but hey, as some might know, i'm a tattoo addicts, so i might get it done anyway hehehehee...oh yeah, it just hit me i never told y'all that darrell is a muslim....makes it extra hard at times

ad if anyone has questions about getting tattoos, i have been under the needle for more then 40 hours, so feel free to ask

yeah, it's true. He's a converted muslim, since he has been in prison. he became a muslim 4 years ago and can sometimes be pretty extreme. Not to me though. He sends me books to study Islam and that;s what I do. Not only for him but also because I'm interested myself. He does know that I'm not planning on becoming a muslim myself, because I don't agree with everything they say and do. He respects that, so it's cool. But sometimes things can be confusing.

Soraya....
JD is also Muslim... It hasn't really been all that challenging for us.... With the Muslim faith (as well as with all others) there are differing beliefs from traditional to liberal.... Thankfully, JD is a more "liberal" muslim... I also have done a lot of reading up on Islam and share in some things with him (ie: I observed the schedule of fasting and prayers with him during Ramadan...)
Just yet another thing we have in common!!

yes indeed! I'm glad to know that. I'm also planning on fasting during Ramadan this year. Darrell is more extreme though
