Default Help-How long to process release certificate? - Leblanc Unit TX Prison

My husband has finshed his program at Leblanc and is due to be released. How long does it take to process the certificate. I call that hotline everyday and check the computer but nothing ever changes. Do I need to call another number? He said his oFfical complete date was Nov. 13th. When he first went up for parole and it was granted they said Dec. but no date. I live 8 hours away and have two children so i need to make arrangements way before. Ialso work at a job where our schedule is made out a month in advance and i took off the first 23 day of december but if he is not going to be released until the middle then I would like to work ( dang kids are expensive ). Any help will be appriciated. also do I send him clothes to wear out .. Thank you very much

Congrats!!!I am really happy for you. My husband and I are waiting also. His certificate was printed on the 17th, do you know the exact date for your husband's certificate? Thanks for the encouragement, maybe he'll be out next week. I wonder if they were in the same class together. Take care.

I'm going to Leblanc for my first contact visit. Can anyone please tell me how the visits work? I will probably have the 4 hour visit since I live more than 300 miles away. How is it set up? Are we sitting across from each other at a table or can we walk around? And what are the rules as far as the contact? Will we be allowed to hug and maybe kiss? I would appreciate any information!

You can get a four hour visit both Saturday and Sunday if you live 300 or more miles away. Call on Monday and request a special visit it, but you can only go once a month. The visitation room at LeBlanc is like a large work breakroom. You can kiss and hug them when they first come to your table. You can hold hands on the table during the visit. The vending machines are usually well stocked. You can get up and use them and the restrooms. They have to go back inside the door to use the restrooms and they can't go to the machines. You can also kiss and hug when they leave. Last week we snuck a quick kiss when I was going to the machines when the officers weren't looking! They also take photos there some weekends.
