Default When does an inmate become eligible for parole?

Hi, does anyone know when someone becomes eligible for parole? Or anything along those lines?

It depends on whether or not the offense is classified as a serious violent offense and how much pre-sentence confinement credit they have towards their time.

yes, usually they are eligible when there time is near to be released. so if he had 3 yrs the last 3-6 months he would be placed on the list to see the parole board then after that he will meet with them and they will tell him his release date. as long as hes had no other charges or picked up and disorderly conduct reports he will sign his good time with in 10days and then wait for his parole certificate to come and the day to be released. i hope this helped
