You are absolutely right they are on lock down.
I just checked the website

That is CRAZY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They JUST come off a long lock down.

I just checked the IDOC Website and it verifies that the Menard Facility is on lock down. I can not believe it. Foolish people will always mess it up for everyone. I Hope my LO got to go to the store today, because he waited patiently to go the store and it would be a big disappointment

, if he did not get to get his neccessities. He wanted to get his TV. He was excited about getting his stuff this week. He talked about it with such great excitment when I spoke to him this week.

*sigh* I just called up there as was told the entire facility is on lockdown as of today. I knew it was only a matter of time. *sigh*

My baby was supposed to go to the store today, so I hope to God he was able to.

Got some info that only West house is on lockdown and visits resumed for all the other cell houses today. And for those of us who have loved ones in East house, they all were able to go to the store. Some went yesterday before the lockdown, and the rest went today.

Maybe the East house did get to go to the store. I was told that it is the West that is on level 1 lock down. So let's keep our finger crossed in the hopes that they got a chance to go to the store.

I just spoke to my LO and he states that he did get to go to the store and that the East Hse was intially on lock down, but for just a very short time. It was for a day, maybe not even a full day. I am so glad that they were allowed to go to the store.

Just wanted to update that West house is no longer on lockdown.
