It does, doesn't it?!

Both of us and my guy's ARUS thought for sure he would be on the PB hearing list for March, but he isn't. In an effort to not lose hope and to stay positive I had to revert to the whole "April is a better month than March anyway!" But it sure gets old. So if they push him to May then we didn't even get an early call back either. What's up with that?! **sorry, just ranting this week...

It's good to get positive stories about reentry out in front of the public so they don't believe the old lock'em up and throw away the key stuff.

I think it is huge to help them get jobs. If a person has a job they have self worth, if a person has a job they don't feel desperate to do things to support themselves or their families that could cause them to re-offend out of desperation. Most people will come out of prison. They will live among us. They may be our neighbors. Seems to me if we can help them to have jobs it will help all of us in the long run. How people completely miss that point, as seen in opinions in the newspapers, is entirely beyond me. Where on earth do they think they're going?
