My bf has been ill for going on two months with severe nausea and diarrhea. I have been contacting everybody I know trying to get him some help because with the DOC they take their time with everything. Well they did move him up to the medical floor and is giving him some fluids and running some tests. I am just so worried about him. I have prayed but I wish I knew how to just have faith and calm down and know that everything is going to be ok. I have just lost my mom las year and I cant not stand the thought of something else happening to any one of my loved ones. Please if you have any advice for me as to how to not worry or any scriptures for me to read let me know. Please pray for my bf to get better in Jesus Name. Amen. Thank you so much!!!!!!

Hello everything will be okay just calm down, Im sorry abouy your mom. When I started going thru my situation it was very stressful. A good friend of mine told me to read psalm 34. It helped me out alot just know that God will see you thru this. Read it and let me know what you think.

My fiance's stomach is all messed up also and its cuz of the soy they feed them..He tries 2 only eat what he buys from commissary so I always have 2 make sure he got money on his books. Not saying this is what's going on wit ur man but I know a lot of people are sick cuz of the soy in the food and there was a big lawsuit going on cuz of it..Goodluck and I will keep you both in my prayers.

I have taken to referring people to calling their local Divison of Senior Services or Aging departments as well as Departments of Mental Health to make complaints and the reason for this is that medical care in an institutional setting is being neglected and their infirmaries need to be investigated and reviewed....within these Divisions are departments for Home and Community based complaints so call and make a complaint for Georgia at

At the very least you're going to get the complaint documented on state paper. They aren't going to know what to do with the complaint but they have to do something with it and it's my goal to get health and senior services into the prisons if for nothing else other than to generate some buzz in state offices.

You can also call Centers for disease control because they too have a responsibility to follow up

My idea is to bombard all of the government offices and hold them accountable for generating reports and investigations and I'm hoping that we'll see some change out of that

Hey everybody. Thank you for all of your replies!!!!! I am going to read the psalms 34 before I go to bed and let you know what I think and how it helps me. I have not been long home from work that is why I am just getting a chance to reply. I also will get the private msgs out as well and I will call the numbers that was provided to me. I have not heard from my bf yet today to see how he was doing last night when he called me he said that he had been sick all day throwing up still. My bf has plenty of money on his books and buys a lot of food from the store but he has to be careful what he eats and the stores here in Georgia does not have many healthy choices to pick from. I do not know if I mentioned it nut he has has a kidney transplant so he also has to follow a special diet so some thing are just not good for him which makes it worse. I really do thank you all for your prayers!!! I am so scared rt now because it seems like that it is nothing I can do to help him. So I know when it is too BIG for me it is just right for God. Thanks again and God bless!!!!!! Oh yeah if you can pm if you know of any good lawyers to see if I have a medical neglect case to file against them I bet that they get him seen about then.
