This one is very close to my heart . The Taylors are wonderful people and are more than friends they are family to Michael and myself and our hearts are breaking for Jen and Lee right now we love you Tiny Tots and are always here for you xo xo

I have the pleasure of knowing Lee and his wife, they are good friends of mine and my late husband. I hate to say it but I know how she is feeling, I hate it for them, and my prayers are with them and the family... God bless and keep them..

As always, my thoughts are with the family and friends of any inmate with a date. Lee has agreed to write journal and his first entry can be found HERE. This journal will be posted in a similar way to Kevin Varga's was. I encourage people to read and support Lee at this time.

I read his first entry, and love the Minutes Before Six blog, in every aspect (even when I disagree). I'm glad Mr. Taylor agreed to write and hope it provides him with some release. The more we can see, at least in words, the toll this takes on those who experience it, and those who have to watch a loved one experience it, the sooner we'll stop this from happening. In the interim, his sharing of his experience is a blessing, and deeply appreciated. I feel honored that he would share this most intimate experience with me, and everybody else, and let us see it from his point of view, and not just a newspaper report the next morning.

Please, pass on my thanks, and my prayers. May he be removed from deathwatch quickly. May he enjoy many more sunsets. I don't think I'll be able to see another one again without thinking of both him and his friend, and the small pleasure they take out of each one they can see.

I am still waiting to hear back from Lee's attorney as to whether I can repost the first entry, even if it needs to be modified some. I hope I can as I thought it was important for people to read it.

Hello all just wanting to let you know , I am close friends with the Taylor's infact they are family and I know Jen is very proud of her husband and supports him 110% and that includes his writtings but as the supreme court has not ruled on Lee's case yet and there is many avenues that still need to be look at The Taylor's were advised by their lawyer that these writtings should be removed for the time being.
Jen is very grateful for all the support shown to her husband and very thankful for the understanding at this tuff time.
So a big thank you from me ladies and gents for you support and understanding shown to the Tiny Tots

Lee's Death Watch Journal is back up with a few edits in the first two entries. There is a NEW ENTRY that has now also been posted. I hope to now have more entries soon.

There are three executions scheduled in the United States today and tomorrow. One man did not receive legal counsel at his trial. The second has a long-standing diagnosis of mental retardation and therefore cannot be lawfully executed. Mr. Taylor, from what I have read, killed in self-defense while incarcerated for another murder committed when he was 16 years old.

I do not question that society needs to be protected from Mr. Taylor and people like him. In this case, we are and have been for some years. Executing him will just be another murder.
