Default Help ! Questions with TS and waiting lists!

My boyfriend has served about 3 months of a 15 month sentence. He is incarcerated in osborn and hating every second of it (no ac, dislikes his roommate among other things). He was told that he has to complete a domestic violence course before his release. He has been on the waiting list for over a month. He keeps telling me that he is supposed to apply for TS in october. does anyone know if he gets credit for the time that he is on the waiting list and what if anything can be done to get him in the classes sooner rather than later. We are both so frustrated. I miss him so much I just want him home. This is his first time in jail and we both have so many questions with no clue who to ask. Any info that anyone can give me will be great !!

I'm not sure but I wouldn't think that he would get credit while on the waiting list.. He should speak to his counselor about it though, they would know for sure.. Hope u hear something soon

He should be able to get somewhere with his counselor but if not maybe you should try calling the main office for DOC and just ask some questions, it cant hurt just be polite and respectful! Good luck! Hope it works out!
