Default HCG Diet

Hey Everyone,
I am starting the hcg diet today.. I am on phase 1. I know a lot of people do not agree with the method but i am here if anyone is doing it as well looking for support or any hints. If you have tried it how you are doing and if anyone wants to join in with me I would love to see how it is going for you as well. I wanna be open in my weight loss journey.. So day one i checked in at 180. I will give an update on my goals. I would like to get down to 150.


so today is a loading up day.. I think this is my favorite part of the diet woohoo....

What does the rest consist of food wise ???
And why do people not approve of the diet ?

I'm sorry, I'm completely ignorant on the diet and was just curious

Well its going off of 500 calories a day... Which i can see why people agree its not the healthiest ways... Ive done my research and i am doing it for me because its the way i wanna do it! I support everyones opinions but for now this is the one i am doing.. Pretty much cant eat a lot of anything! Mostly some greens fruit few meats and a peice of bread with lots of coffee tea and water!! Not a good idea to workout on it because of low calorie ... Can cause headaches and dizzieness!!

Please keep us posted on how this works out for you. I did try this diet not too long ago but couldn't make it past a week. I was getting such bad headaches and no, I wasn't working out. I still have the HCG and was thinking of giving it another try.

Did you start out doing a "pig-out" the first two days to "trick" your metabolism? I did not and was told I should have done that. But I'm not sure if that would have helped with headaches. Yes, please let us know how it goes!

Katie yes it prolly caused the headaches the program if HCG I did stated in the directions if you don't do the pug out days what side effects you could see and headaches were on there! I was successful my first week I lost 9 pounds but then had to go away for the weekend for my sons basketball and I fell off the wagon!!! I'm really thinking about hoping back on because I did get results!!!

Are you doing the sublingual or shots? I am going to do it as well. I was just looking at the site Collin Watson has that has the whole kit w/hcg book, his book, recipes, directions and the actual hcg.

Make sure the HCG comes with a pregnancy test because if it doesn't it's prolly not an active HCG. If it doesn't go to the dollar store and get a pregnancy test and test that the HCG comes up positive if it doesn't it's either old or fake! And research where you buy from some sites are taking your cc info and then charging 1000s of $ on peoples cc!!!!

Mel so far mine has been ok.. Thanks to u i have kept a close eye on the account i bought it with!! Also i likete place i got it from because there facebook page has lots off good things about the company and they all seem to be happy! I am happy i get to read the ppls reveiw on facebook!

The drops have no taste to them and you can do the drops twice a day or three times a day I did twice it was 9 drops in the am and then 9 in the pm! If you 3 times a day it's 6 drops each time!

? Kinda diet is this? Have you ever heard of Phentramine? Pill you get from diet Dr. I'm in Cali & thy have it here.. I've been walking am's/eve's along w/softball ) Can I just get my mouth wired shut!?!? Lol )

I have done Phentramine years ago, but caffeine puts me to sleep so as soon as I took the pill about 10-15 minutes later I was drowsy lol!! So it doesn't work for me.

I took phentermine and hcg shots to loose weight for my wedding. I lost 65 pounds. I started again in Jan and ended up pregnant in Feb. Lol. I plan to start again once the baby is here. Good luck!

Phentermine (also known as adipex) works very well! You are guarenteed to lose weight on it. You take it 30mins before your meal in the morning and it pretty much takes ur appetite away for the rest of the day. SIDE EFFECTS: jittery, thirsty, light headed, dry mouth, headache, insomnia, dizzy spells, impaired vision and some others. Of course side effects are different on everyone. It is a type of narcotic so it will make you feel very wired out! If you can deal with the effects and feelings, i strongly recommend it for anyone who wants to lose weight.

It's hard to get in most states I live in Ohio and I had to go to a town in Kentucky to see a dr there that would prescribe it! I couldn't find any dr in my area of Ohio that would even prescribe it! And I didn't loose much weight on it to justify the expense of driving to Kentucky once a month!

Yes, thats true. I should have mentioned that not every state/doctor will prescribe it since it is labled as a narcotic. In some states it's illegal. I used to live in Kansas and had to drive to a Doc in Oklahoma to get a script on it years ago. Since then it has changed and now KS has allowed it. Im now living in TX and find that many doctors around here will prescribe it. If anybody does have it in their state, i also recommend finding a PCP who will write the scripts opposed to going to a medical weight lost clinic or a NP because it can get very expensive as they usually charge at least 80.00/mth per visit plus cost of script, blood work, etc. Many insurances will not cover the price of the script either unless you are extremley overweight/obese and the doc submitts info to the insurance claiming its a medical need. I specialise in diet, exercise, and nutrition if anybody has questions feel free to ask.

Well a good diet plan will depend on your height, current weight and your goal. Everyone should have a certain amnt of caloric intake so you are not starving or over feeding your body. What i have generally recommended to many men and women starting a diet is to start on the 3 day diet first. I totally agree with ya . That's what I'm in the process of now changing my habits for a healthier lifestyle!!! I may come to you for some help I need this weight off I also suffer from lupus that one day will effect my joints and with the added weight I'm sure it will be sooner rather than later!!!

My sister did the Phentermine diet and while she didn't lose weight (not that she needed to) she did end up with a heart problem.

I think that is the reason they don't do the Phen/Phen combination.
Not sure if it is a problem by itself but it did cause serious heart problems in combination.
