Default Help with Calculations

Hi all, I am sooo new to this prison life ughhhhh it sucks.. I am wondering if anyone could help with my mans calculations. His sentence is 2 years, he has the 30 for 30 and he is eligible for ERS. He also has credit for about 5 mos. If there is anyone that can help me with his calculations I would surely appreciate it.

Thanks

Hi
I too am trying to figure out my man's time. From what I understand the case worker gives times sheets which has the breakdown every 3 months. With the 30/30 I think for every month he does he gets credit for a month. The ERS date is his early release date so the calculations are subtracted from that date, provided he doesn't get in trouble. Also any classes, work, etc count for time too. My boo is at Simpson county work center and he says each class (parenting, fatherhood, church, etc.) gives him a certain amount of days everytime he goes. He hasn't gotten his official time sheet yet but according to someone who has ( they figured this out together) this is how his is working: ERS 5/14/2013, but with 30/30 MET time classes etc knocking days off the time he should be home late May, early June. It's really confusing but tell him to get a time sheet and stay active so he can come home sooner.

Yeah I'm kind of keeping up with his time but didn't really know how it worked. On the website it says 3-12-2013. We are aiming for march 2012 if he doesn't get in any trouble. Thanks for your response it helped out alot and I will make sure to tell him to make sure he keeps up with that info...

Hi, please help me, I have a quick question. I read that with the 25% and everything else there is a possibility for first non violent offense, with good behaviour, enrolling in classes, etc. an inmate can make it out on parole very very early, however , an inmate who is sentenced over 6 years need to do a minimum of at least 12 months. I calculated everything( assuming good behaviour, trustee, and enrolling in all the classes he can) my bf should be doing 10 months, but with the 12 months rule, the earliest he'll make parole is 12 months. My question is, does the 12 months start counting while he is in county jail because he has been there for almost 2 months waiting to be transferred to ranking. Or does it begin when he gets to the actual prison?
thank you!!!

Hello, I do believe that the time will only start when he gets to his actual prison. From there his time will start for parole, Ers or etc..... He will get that credit for his time served in county jail but it want be added to his parole or ers dates etc... Someone tell me if Im wrong but I think thats the case...
