Let me start off by saying that I have no positive verification and it could only be a prison rumor!

My husband was told by another inmate that his wife was all upset because she had just gotten off the phone with PCS in which she was told by PCS that in a couple of months there are going to be changes to the phones where the inmates will no longer have a phone debit account. All phone calls must be to numbers that have a prepaid account set up with PCS.

Now I would like to believe that this is hogwash and that it is not even realistic or feasible for the MDOC to do this, but past practice says otherwise. So I guess we'll have to wait and see!

Well, I do not believe they can change this. I THINK it is in the contract that they can utilize debit and/or accounts as the few allowable options.
