Hi ladies,
I'm shopping for a dress to get married in. I found a pretty dress that seems to meet all the requirements, but... it has lace sleeves. Does that count as sheer and as such, be a no-no?
Also, another dress is a beige color with a black lace overlay... what do you think? Too "Sexy" as the beige could look nude? This is hard! LOL

I am going through the SAME thing right now. I know where my fiancé is neither would be allowed and he is on a Minimum security yard but they are SO strict, no collar bones can show, no sheer. One time I had a white t shirt on with a blank tank top on under it. Still wasn't acceptable and NOTHING was see through. I would hate for you to buy something and get turned away that day so whatever it is, bring back up. I doubt the lace would be okay

I'm dress shopping! Do you think this is too low-cut? I didn't think the shirt I wore to our visit was, but that lady CO watched me like a hawk!

that dress is awesome! i think its FINE! who knows whats theyll think. i wonder if we can take our dress of choice and ask if we will be allowed to wear it! lol

Oh no! Thats terrible! We are worried about that too because we are hoping for a transfer. Since July, huh? Wow...here I was thinking of an early summer date.
Thanks for your opinion on the dress. My first choice had lace sleeves and I worried they would call that "sheer" and not allow it.

I talked to the marriage corridinator yesterday she said once she recieves your package its a 3-5 month waiting list and shw recieved my package in October hopefully i will get a date soon. But i have a question about the rings does it have to be a certain size for the inmates and did anyone go out and buy a wedding dress im trying to decide what to do??

it does not have a size but it has to be a plain ring with no diamonds... They say it has to be 100 dollars or less but they did not ask for proof... I think you should buy to dresses or outfits you really like... My dress that i had my heart set on did not make it through processing so i had to change but i had a back up outfit congrads you'll get a get a date soon december don't count because they don't do weddings in december

Idk about the size of the rings but I hear it cant have raised edges n it cant be more than $100. My man said it dont matter, they dont check the receipt.
& im wearing a dress! I hvnt found one tho lol.

I sent my certified and I believe it took two weeks for me to get it back... So you should be getting it soon if not go the post office and see what they say or call his counselor and see if he recieved the package

Omgosh! My marriage packet was scanned out of the Bakersfield post office...but that is the last check in! It's lost! My post office is calling down to Corcoran to see if they will "look" for it.

Does any of you ladies know if you need to have all your past divorce final papers? I mean if you been married more then one time in your past do you need both? or just from the last divorce? Getting prepared!
