My Fiances daughter is missing. Updated- she's no longer missing

Hi,

So I just got a phone call from my man's baby Momma and she told me their daughter is missing. She has been missing since 2:30 this afternoon. The police are looking for her. She is not answering her phone. She is twelve.
I'm freaking out. How am I gonna tell her dad tomm when he calls tomm. He is gonna loose his mind and we can't afford that.
Please just pray for her!!!

I hope this all works out and she gets home safe and unharmed. You are in my thoughts. I would not tell her father, until you know more. Maybe she will turn up by then...don't jump the gun and get him all worked up, in case she is found and safe.

ok, now from my understanding there is sometimes if you call into the prison or jail where your loved one is, sometimes they will do an "emergancy" call for something like this where he'd be maybe in w/the counslor or unit manager or something or someone and be allowed to call you to get this type of information, so maybe you could try that route rather then jus telling him alone when he calls? Or maybe even at least speaking w/the prison before hand to see if there is sum1 and sum1 to have this done w/you on the fon... however w/that said I jus dunno if they wuld then say well we will tell him, as soon as we hang up, and i wuld hate for him to hear it that way!

I kno some will think u shuldn't tell him, I however think that he needs to kno this is his daughter and she's missing - yeh it's gonna freak him out and everything else, but he needs to kno and has a right to know....can't always protect them, and in this case i dont think if something wuld happen that he wuld feel that you protected him by keeping it from him and not letting him know!!

on another note...i rlly hope she's found by now or soon and this wont even have to be discussed with him that she's missing, but shuld still be told that she was missing and what happend and so forth. but that she's safely home

Oh no....hugs and prayers your way. I can't tell you what's right or wrong but I do know if it was my daughter I would flip if it was kept from me. Hope all turns out for the best and she returns safely.

I would like to thank everyone for the prayers. She was found safe. She basically ran away and slept all night with a boy outside in the cold. We've got some big problems now. She is only 12. At least she is ok. Thanks!!!!
