I honestly feel like I'm going crazy sometimes. My first time doing this as well...but i occupy myself..work, school, write him, I'm on here a lot, just anything to pass time.

I agree with Princess1029. Find things to occupy your time. Go to the gym, sign up for softball, anything just keep yourself busy. Thats what keeps me from losing my mind.

I agree with everyone! keep yourself busy and dont look at the end date because it will seem so far away. I go week by week and day by day. Just know each night you lay your head on your pillow that another day is over and you are one day closer to being back together. Keeping busy, keeping those kind of thoughts, and visiting this web site have helped me TONS! Good Luck and keep being strong!! Time is always ticking!!!

Welcome to PTO RaversGirl.
You are right, it is a little crazy :-) and there are days I wonder if Im doing the right thing. But I guess everyone feels like that about something at times aye.
I hope you will find PTO as a place you can come where we DO understand. We dont judge, as sometimes friends and family can seem to do.
Feel free to read the threads, ask questions, vent ... or whatever you need. You are very welcome here and I hope we can help make this time a little easier for you to get through.
Take care

I'm only 6 months into an 8 1/2 year bid. I take it one day at a time, cause otherwise it is too overwhelming. I stay busy, I work overtime, live for letters, calls, and visits. Reading posts on here helps because I know I'm not alone. I don't have support from my family, so I draw my strength from here seeing how other people are making it too. Good luck and welcome.
