Notice to new members intending to register - from January 9th 2012

Please be aware that, due to difficulties arising from issues with Yahoo and AOL, we have changed our registration requirements.

Users with email addresses from yahoo.com, yahoo.co.uk and aol.com will no longer be able to use them to create a new account.
We have had a long-standing problems with these mail services and have found that it is almost impossible to send out account activations to new users who have Yahoo or AOL providers.

Please use an alternative email address; hotmail, gmail etc.

Default Letter-issues
Hi everyone,

I am just wondering if there are any issues I am not allowed writing about in my letters....

I've only ever had one letter refused due to content. My friend had asked me about another prisoners crime so I looked it up and sent him an article. The article wasn't allowed. They do have a rule against passing messages between prisoners but I've never had a problem saying your friend says hello.

Same here, I am not involved with TX but with LA, but have been writing to Texas death row in the past and no mail was ever refused due to content, only photos or articles.
That's why I always mail those things seperately with just a short note. That way, the personal mail is not held back, in case the mail room objects a photo or an article.
