Notice to new members intending to register - from January 9th 2012

Please be aware that, due to difficulties arising from issues with Yahoo and AOL, we have changed our registration requirements.

Users with email addresses from yahoo.com, yahoo.co.uk and aol.com will no longer be able to use them to create a new account.
We have had a long-standing problems with these mail services and have found that it is almost impossible to send out account activations to new users who have Yahoo or AOL providers.

How long till they can recieve packages

I was wondering if anyone knows how long it takes till you are able to recieve packages once you are at your home institution? I have a friend that has been at his home institution since april 2nd and on the access site it says he is not able to recieve packages.just curious as to when he will be able to recieve packs.thanks
