We are getting back to normal

I just wanted to post some positive news. Me and my boyfriend are starting to get back to normal. We had been fighting on and off for the last month. Part of it was lack of communication on both our parts. Part of it is that as my man falls more deeply in love with me he is becoming more emotional which i now find funny but found confusing and annoying for a while.

What really has me happy is that i wrote him a love letter recently. We had a scare nearly a year ago when someone from the prison became upset at the romantic content of my letters and it ended up leaking into the general populace. I won't go into all of the details since COs do read this site. I was terrified for months and didn't post here fearing that someone from the prison would find out and put his life in danger. My boyfriend has been adamant that he can take care of himself and that i should not let their ignorance get between us. The content of his letters never changed. We have become more expressive of our love in visits regardless of who is around but I was still afraid to express my love in letters.

In light of our recent arguments I felt like my boyfriend needed to know how much i love him and why. He called me after he received the letter and I felt so relived that everything was ok. I am happy we are not arguing anymore and that we can communicate freely again.
