My son was just placed in Drumheller after being in Peace River, and then Edmonton Remand. it has been a horrible month waiting for a final placement. It has been pretty stressful, and with limited communication, it makes it worse.

It has been 10 days since they approved my phone number and was finally able to have a private converstion with him last night. He is so miserable and there is nothing I can do to help him....except pray I guess.

I am now working on getting his pen-pack together, wish there was a clear list available as to what they can have. The one on the internet is a "generic" list but every institution has their own specifics of what is/is not allowed.

I hope there is someone else out there in the similar situation that can help with some of the questions I have, and maybe just be a listening ear.
