Default More questions about visiting list

Hello, I have some more questions...

1. If at the point of time at which my filled in visitation application form arrives at the facility, the inmate is a) already released on parole b) very close to being released on parole or c) not yet released but has a date that he will get out in.. lets say a month or so... would they take the effort to look through my application and say okay or not okay at all?

2. If I get visitation approved and afterwards he gets released on parole but after some days/weeks/whatever he gets into trouble and is sent back to prison, would I need to apply for visitation again or would my visitation permission still count?

3. If I get visitation approved but finally he gets out and stays out, would I be denied if I would apply for being allowed to visit another inmate in Nevada who is at prison?

4. If I send the visitation form but they don't look through it because he gets released, would they look through it if he is sent back to prison or would I need to send it again in that case?

5. If someone doesn't send a visitation form at all (or maybe doesn't get the permission to visit), could that person get permission to come to a parole hearing?

ok, ill try to help. 1.doesnt matter how close to getting released, you can still visit. just make sure its submitted in the alotted time.
2.you always have to reapply
3.if you want to visit someone else, be careful, i almost got denied for being on an exs visiting from 10 yrs ago. you may want to remove yourself. and only have 1 at a time.
4. see #2
5.not sure, my husband just went absentia. so there is no board meeting.
i hope this helps

Thank you for the information. I know now that his hearing will be in June so I think I'll wait for the result first. If it's successful he'd get out in September and I couldn't visit him that soon anyway, unfortunately...

5. Yes even if the person isn't on the approved list they are still allowed to attend the hearing. They would just have to call the prison/camp letting them know before the hearing that they wish to attend a parole hearing. If the parole hearing is on a date when the inmate has visits they may even get approved to visit that day it really depends on the prison/camp
