Default Our son's secons birthday. no card.

So our son turned 2 a little over a month ago. On the morning of his birthday my man called and sang him happy birthday. Well he is an artist so he almost always sends a drawing. He sent a really nice one for his 1st birthday. So a week after his birthday I asked him why he didn't send one. He didn't really have a reason but said he would. He didn't. And has yet to send anything. He aalso said he would start writing to our son, but stopped after a couple letters because he said he felt awkward.

Is this something that I should be upset about, or should i pick my battles and let it go, especially since he did sing to him?

I would say let it go. He did call, so at least he thought about it. As far as the letters go he is only 2 and can't really understand anyway.

Thank you so much. I felt I was going to turn into the nag monster. And needed an outside-of-my-own-crazy-head opinion.

I really appreciate it

I'm a firm believer of choosing your battles. You don't want to put them through anymore than u have to. They go through enough without us nagging
