Swedes To Challenge World Smooching Record

STOCKHOLM, Sweden -- Some Swedes may need a lip retread.

Sweden's state-owned pharmacy, Apoteket, is looking for volunteers to pucker their way into the record books. The pharmacy is sponsoring an attempt at the record for the world's longest kiss, which now stands at just under 31 hours.

The pharmacy says the kissing record stunt is part of a campaign promoting good dental hygiene.

The couple selected for the mega-smooch will get kissing coaches, along with tips on flossing and better brushing.
