Thumbs up He's a new reader!

My husband likes the Source, Vibe, XXL, King, Smooth. He's into Donald Goines and various 'hood tales. I sent him a book by Kwan (I don't remember the title) and he really enjoyed it. I also sent Tupac's "The Rose That Grew From Concrete" as well as Tupac's "Resurrection". He really enjoyed them and even sent me a couple of the poems Tupac wrote that related to him or us (he's sooo SWEET!!!) .

Terry Goodkind's Sword of Truth series. The first book is Wizard's First Rule. There are nine books in the series. You can buy them pretty cheap through Amazon used books. He says that he has a waiting list of guys who want to read them.

Alex loves that Tupac book too! The jail that he has incarcerated in was stupid and didn't allow books to be sent- they had to get them from the library of like 50 books....but that's another story. He likes horror and mystery .

My husband really got into the "Left Behind" series of books. He'd write long letters about the books and what happened in them. He read a few Stephen King books as well.

My husband enjoyed magazines too! He also loved weekly news magazines and had a subscription to "US News and World Report." Of course he adored his Maxim and Stuff magazines! I wonder why? LOL

Since he's been home, he doesn't really read much. Beyond a magazine article here and there, I haven't seen him pick up a book.

Dean Koontz, Stephen King, Anne Rice, anything about alternative spirituality (Carlos Casteneda, the Seth stuff, Celestine Prophecy, the Bible Code books) he gobbles up like candy. Also newsmagazines.
