Medical Treatment: Help!! What Can I Do??

My Husband Is At The North Central Regional Jail In Greenwood. We Have A Serious Problem And Dont Know What To Do Or Who To Call. About A Month Ago, My Husband Began Complaining About His Left Ear Hurting. He Has Not Had An Ear Infection Since He Was 9 Years Old. So, A Week Or So Ago, The Nurse Finally Took Him In To See Him. She Examined The Right Ear And Stated That There Was Liquid Behind The Eardrum. He Was Suprised Because It Is The Left Ear That He Can No Longer Hear Out Of. Well, She Checked The Left Ear And Found Blood Inside. She Then Poured Peroxide Into The Ear, And When He Leaned Over To Let It Out, Chunks Of Grey And Bloody....something Came Out. He Said That Is Looked Like His Brain! Grose, I Know. Sorry For The Detailed Descriptions. Anyways, She Said That The Doctor Would See Him Soon. He Waited Several Days Before Seeing The (so Called) Doctor Who Gave Him Some Pain Pills And Ear Drops. My Husband Said That The Doc Barely Spent A Second Even Looking At The Ear. Since Then, The Nurses Have Lost His Medicine. My Husband Is In So Much Pain And They Will Not Do Anything. I Read That If Any Kind Of Liquid, Let Alone Blood, Comes From The Ear, Than You Should Seek Emergency Medical Care Immediately. It Has Been About Four Days Now That He Has Not Recieved His Medication. To Tell You The Truth, I Dont Think The Meds He Was Given Were Going To Cure The Problem Anyways And He Needs To See An Outside Doctor, Be Taken To The Hospital, Or Something. But Atleast They Were Helping The Pain. Can Anyone Tell Me Where I Can Find The Specific Laws Governing Prisoners Medical Treatment? I Would Like To Write A Letter To The Commisioner And Include A Copy Of This Law So That He Knows I Am For Real. My Husband Cannot Take The Pain Much Longer, And I Dont Know What To Do. Any Ideas??? Please Help. Thank You.
