FCI Forrest City Weddings

Does anyone have any info on weddings at FCI Forrest CIty, Arkansas??? I am getting married there in October and just curious if anyone knows anything about the process there. For everyone who has gone through the PRISON WEDDING is it awkward??? I know I am marrying my Best Friend and the love of my life but I am still wondering what you felt that day. Oh yeah, does anyone have any info on taking pictures... Do they let us ??? Is it like visitation pictures??? Any advice on whether or not to have out daughter there?? She is 16 months!!! I am thinkint that may be a little much but I would like her to be there,,,, Any advice will help!!! THANKS A MILLION!!

Hello!!! I have been looking for someone who's loved one is in forrest city. My boyfriend is in there. He also wants to get married. I hope we can talk more. Maybe we can help eachother through this struggle b/c it is very hard. He has only been there for 1 month and a half so it is very new to me and i could use some advice and guidance.

Shavon---My fiance has been in for almost a year and has about 4 more to go. Have you been to visit... Terrible isnt it. I see you are from GA. Long drive. I am only about 2 hrs and 15 minutes from Forrest City!! I would love to talk to you more... It is a great feeling to find someone whose loved one is in Forrest City.. How long does he have? You said that you are thinking about marriage... Well follow your heart, dont listen to anyone else. If you feel you are ready then take the leap. BUT if you have any doubts wait a little while. So far the marriage process there has been really simple. Greg(my baby) just had to fill out some papers with all of our info and turn them in to his counselor. Then I had to write a request letter. On the wedding day I will have to go get the marriage license and that is about it. Greg has gotten close to one of the ministers there and he said that he would be happy to marry us.. Whats your mans name??? Just curious. My baby is GREG BUCK.... You are welcome to call me anytime I would love to talk to you.... Ill PM you my number!!!! If I can figure it out HA HA

Congradulations to u ladies that are getting married.....I was married on Dec 27th and my husband is locked up in Cali. U asked if it was awkward......well it was different but it was nice and better than i thought it would be. After we came outta the little room that they do the cermonys in everyone in the visiting room was clapping and yellin speech...speech at my new husband. It was nice to see people happy for us.

Hey everyone !! My baby is in Eastern Arkansas! He has mentioned getting married but isnt for sure if thats the place or not to get married ? I havent been to see him hes been in almost a year and has 14 months left .
