Lansing Correctional Facility - Lansing KS
I am looking to talk to anyone that has a loved on in the Lansing Correctional Facility. John was just transferred from minimum to maximum and I am worried about him. I am no longer able to visit him, seeing as I am no immediate family, clergy, or his attorney.

He's strong, emotionally, mentally and physically, but I'm still worried. I would love to hear from anyone that has any input on my situation, either because they are currently there concerning this prison, or even if not!

I have noticed that you have posted twice about this facility and no one has answered yet... Have patience - perhaps if there is anyone here that knows something they just have not caught your posts as yet...

I hope that someone comes by with some information for you.

You may want to check with John if there is a designation on the visiting list for 'significant other' or some other designation that will allow you to visit? Some prisons have this and some do not.

thanks teb....i already knew about the site for Lansing, in fact the darn thing is in my favorites file, and his personal site for KASPER is my homepage. I know I'm a dork, but I am just constantly looking for anything that will make me feel closer to him than I am now. Thanks for your reply to my post! I was beginning to think that no one knew anything.....

dazzledoll my man is aslo in lcf and i also faced the same thing when he first was transfered to lcf east he got rolled and was sent to max. I was so worried about him! This is what he needs to do so that you can visit him. He needs to go to his unit team and request a form to fill out for you to be put as his primary visitor then they have to let you visit no matter what that makes you just like as if you was his family! Threw Ruebens experience behind the walls,he'll be okay . Rueben has told me that the time flys by back there. Just hang in there and if you would pm me and give me his name and ill have Rueben get a fly note if ya know what i mean to check on him as he does laundry ya know! I wish you the best and hang in there lcf is no nice place! Good-luck!! Barb
