Cool Must have manuals...Pennsylvania Prisoners Bible

This is a topic I have been thinking about for sometime, and more recently since finding PA's Prisoners Site. I notice that there are alot of people, and often women that are asking questions about Pennsylvania's prison system. Many seem to be frighten, confused, and concern about their love ones...and rightly so.
I can not, nor wish to go into great lenghts about the PA's prison system... yet I really feel obliged to share my experience with Pennsylvania's laws, procedures and the PA's prison system. Therefore, let me first say...I don't care what Hand-Book you read...if it is put out by the Prison Bureau, or Pennsylvana State, it is nothing more than mandated,(either Federal, or State) guidelines that are supposed to be followed according to law. A glorified PR manual...nothing more. The madates that concern the welfare of prisoner's are grossly misleading. The procedures that are to be followed according to the laws that govern them are often not followed...more often than not...only when gross negligents, and civil action are taken will the prison system begin to fall within the realm of prescribe guidlines. Many prisons are controlled by very ugly, vengeful and jaded people,(these are my words), and since certain things occurred, for instance, the 1989 Camp Hill Riot, and the Mud-Man Case,(http://www.prisontalk.com/forums/arc.../t-129404.html) doing time in the PA's prison system is an very hard thing to navigate through. Recieving unjust sentences, and being denied pre-release, and parole is a covert action that is happening everyday.

When I was a bad boy growing up in Lancaster, Pa..I did things that were not nice nor were they law abinding...nevertheless, I grew up on the streets...that was my life...that is what I knew...that is what I learned...All these behaviors against people and society eventually would cause me to serve many years in prison. my point is this...at 38yrs I still was not learning to correct my flaws, that is until I caught one of my last case's. The circumstances that surrounded my particular case was grossly exaggerated, boastered, and lied about...nevertheless, after being charged with these trumped-up charges, the District Attorney vowed to get me. I was charged with Aggravated Assault against Court Deptuties.
Charged , and promise to do 20-40 yrs...needless to say, that rock my world. You would have the know the case, and the circumstances surrounding this case...today it is almost comical...back than, by all rights, my life of freedom was over. Cash poor, and rather stupid when it came to legal matters...I in short could not afford an attorney, and dumb to law... what was I to do... here's what I did... got real smart about criminal law, and the proceduces that govern those laws, and I fought hard to find the glitch that would exonerate me...long story short...became a good jail house lawyer...and all told...one day before my trial was to begin...lose (of course)...and start serving that god-forsaken sentence. I found the precedent case that was so blatant in its ruling, the judge had no other option other than to throw the case out against me...and so he did, and I was freed to go...that experience taught me alot. Mainly, if there is a chance to be free, or if I can shorten my sentence, or force DOC to comply to a judges order... I was gonna make sure I knew what I was doing, and knew how to do it. In short...all you caring people who are either poor, or feel like you are getting the short-end of the stick, by cops, DA's,lawyers, judges, courts, or the law itself... Here is the solution...The only one I found that is a sure winner. It has work for me...and others who are able to learn how to survive in a system that will eat you up...and not give it a second thought to it... Learn the Laws of Pennslyvania, and the procedures that goven those laws.(Period). Here is a site that can give you guidance as you learn...(http://www.pennsylvanialegalresearch.com ) The first book I would purchase for your love one is: Pennsylvania Civil and Criminal Rules and Procedures, the second would be: Purdon's Pennsylvania Statues, Title # 18 on criminal codes. Start there and learn quickly...it can and most likely will save your love ones alot of unjustly time served if they can comprehend it...I am not interested in practicing law anymore...had my fill of it...but will suggest, advise, and encourage those who seek further interests Personal e-mail removed per PTO Policy

Your words of wisdom and the PA Legal Research website; both are treasures! So where has this incredible web site been hiding? What a wonderful resource...thanks so much.

Default hyper-link to both books

Little surprized by the lack of questions...apparently all is good with how their love ones received fair sentences, or family is happy about love ones treatment...or maybe not....anyway, for those who aren't happy...thought I ease your search alittle.
