Ok, I just sent my husband some money because I remembered that he is supposed to be going to commisary soon and I know that I hadnt sent him any money in a while. Well, I called the unit to see when they were going to commissary again and the lady told me on Nov 16. Well, they go every 2 weeks so that would mean that the last time that he went was on Nov 2. Well heres the thing...the last time that I sent him some money was on Oct 19 and he used that when he went to the store on Oct 26. I called the inmate trust fund and she told me that the last time that he went to the store was on Nov 2. Well, if I am the only one sending him money then he shouldnt have been able to go because he didnt have any money. Well ,the lady told me that he can send me a copy of his statement showing who has sent money and when, so I just got finished writing him and asking him to send it to me. Believe me, Im far from stupid and I have been through this prison thing way too long and too many times to be falling for all the stuff that goes on, but i just wanted someone elses opinion. It sounds like someone else has sent him some money. He better hope for his sake that it was his mom or something because if not, then whoever it was is gonna have to be the one to do the rest of his time with him because I will be through with it all!

Is it possible that he didn't spend all his money from the last time you sent it? My man usually saves a few dollars from his monthly deposit in case something comes up that he didn't realize he would need. This is a logical explanation for why he would have went to canteen on the 2nd. Ask him a few questions in a non-accusing manner and if you still have doubts about his honesty, ask for his statement. Has his mom sent him money before?

Does he have a job where he is paid? Perhaps that could be how he had money. Or could he have had some money left over from when you sent it? Just some options to think of perhaps.

October 26 is only a week before November 2, how could he have gone then if they only go every two weeks?

No he doesnt get paid because we are in Texas and you know what...I am sooooo stupid! I just thought about something. He is in Medium custody and that means that he can only spend $30.00. Well, I sent him $50 last time, so that means that he had $20.00 left over. OMG I better open that envelope and tear up that letter I just wrote. I cant even believe that I didnt think about that. Thank you so much one_luv. I was about to make a big fool out of myself!

Maybe he didn't spend all his money. Ask him about it before jumping to conclusions
