Woman walks away from transitional housing

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) -- Police are looking for an inmate who walked away from a women's transitional housing facility Wednesday.

Colleen Cummins was soon to be released after serving a six-month sentence for loitering for indecent purposes. She left the housing program, which eases inmates back into society, for an appointment, but did not return on time. Police describe her as Hispanic, five feet tall and weighing 135 pounds.
