With Meth Crime on Rise, State Attorneys General Call on Congress to Reject Proposed Federal Budget Cuts to Law Enforcement and Investments in Children Proven to Prevent Crime

A bipartisan group of Attorneys General will release a new report by Fight Crime: Invest in Kids on Tuesday, March 7 that shows the spreading abuse of methamphetamine across the country is spiking an increase in crime by addicts. Fight Crime: Invest in Kids estimates that crime committed by meth addicts doubled to more than six million crimes in 2004 from 2002.
