Yes, but I think mary k, avon and things of the sort are only if you want to provide additional income. What I am looking for is full time work from home, I'm a single mama at the moment. As for the MT, I have no experience in the field, I don't know the coding. Thanks for wishing me luck in my search...

I would also love an opportunity to work from home. I am a single mom, and my son has autism so it's hard to get someone to watch him that can be trusted.

I know medical terminology, and I seen that mentioned. Does anyone know where to begin? I have a certificate in Office Administration, and 2 years experience as a receptionist. I am currently in school for my Accounting degree.

Thanks for any suggestions!

Baby Blue I was in another place here and I cant remember which topic or even which thread but i did write this down for you.
www.liveops.com
www.workathomeagents.com
www.alpineaccess.com
www.workingsol.com
You have to have a home computer from what i got out of this you answer phone calls at home and the information pops up on your computer. You take phone orders for people. You do not call them they call you like when you see on tv call this number to order the ronco hair spray. Some how that links to your computer and you just enter information. They pay you based on how long you answer I think you have to have set hours. Check into it I thought I would pass this along.
Good Luck ( I wrote them in the order of best to worst for pay and flexability)

i actually took the info down myself.. i work for a call center in Shelton for Health Net.. and even though it's a good job - being a single mom of two.. it's not easy financially. So anywho.... i am going to look in to this - thanks alot!!!!!!
I'm trying to move but the apartment i am looking into is just to expensive.. it will be a wonderful change for the kids and maybe if some of this pans out - i won't have to worry about paying $1000 a month in rent just to have a good home for them in a good area ya know....
anyways thanks!!!!

BabyBlueEyez, the main thing you have to watch out for in type of scenerio is NOT to send them any money up front. this is a RED FLAG, and would be a company to avoid because it's almost always a SCAM. good luck in finding something suitable to enable you to stay home with your family.

Thank everyone for your input. I have register with most already, but have not heard anything as of yet. Wish me luck. PETNANNY, I agree with you, no money up front. There are so many scams out there. Once again thanks everyone.

Default Anybody ever try "Work-at-home data entry" thing?

Has anyone here had personal experience with doing the work-at-home data entry type thing? I see alot of ads for it and I'd like to hear from someone who's actually done it. I don't have internet-or even a home phone, so I'd have to hook it up in order to do this. (I get by on just my cell phone)

Let me know, good or bad, what your experiences were and what to watch out for.

Thanks!

I have been to so many at home data entry web sites.... but I am always a little leary when they ask for money up front.

I would love to be able to sit at home and do data entry for a living! Ya baby, working in my pajamas!!!

I'm thinking it would be a way out of the full time job that I am stuck in now. I'm stuck here cuz of the pay. All the jobs I want to be doing would be a big pay cut. doing this would take up the slack and allow me to be home with my needy little child...ahm...I mean, my cat. (He's Siamese and I get yelled at if I stay away from home too long!)

Stay away from ANYTHING that asks you for money up front. Unfortunately, a lot of these "offers" are BS. I have heard there are legitimate possibilities to do things like medical transcription after taking a brief course in how to do it- check with business and vocational ed programs around your area.

Default suggestions of income

Hi. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for extra income. I currently work 2 jobs to make ends meet, and still live paycheck to paycheck. I feel like all I do is work and come home to cook, do homework with the kids, bathe them and send to them to bed, only to start all over again the next day. I don't feel like I have any time for my kids. They need me now, and i don't feel like I am there for them because I have to work so much. I've tried the survey things but haven't had any success with any of them. I don't like to complain but would love to have time for them and take them to a movie or something once in a while. Any suggestions are appreciated.

I put stuff on ebay, it does take some researching though to figure out what will sell. But it can be done. I feel you on how hard it is to raise children with a loved one in prison. It's not easy, just take one day at a time and do what you can do. God Bless

You could have a stoop sale. It would give you some extra cash, remove any clutter or unwanted things in your house. Plus your kida could help out and you would spend some time with them as well.

One thing I do is "coupon" and RJ laughs at me but I will never have to buy toothpaste again! There are so many coupons and deals out there that people don't really pay attention to. If you would like more info. PM me and I would be happy to give you some ideas.

Are you crafty?? You can make extra money by creating some craft items and selling them. My daughter and I make jewelry and its expanded into a full time business for her. Most of our customers are tattoo shops, but we are now moving on to making softer pieces and have some beauty salons and a boutique on our customer base as well.

Once again, PTO comes through. Thanks guys for all the info. I am crafty and will have to try that. By saying "coupon" do you mean use coupons to shop? I know that may be a crazy question, but just asking. Thanks again everybody.

I too sell things on Ebay. I have made hundreds of dollars, and it's just something I do maybe once a month or so.

I have sold books, video games, purses, old cookie jars, etc. It doesn't cost much to list and item....less than a dollar. The buyer pays the shipping costs.

I collect small boxes and packing materials from work and family when they get something in the mail and you can get cheap, but good packaging tape at your local dollar store or discount mart.

It's also a great place to shop for birthday and XMAS gifts. I found a Care Bear toy that I really wanted to purchase for my niece. The cheapest I could find it in the stores was $12.99. I bought it on Ebay for $10.00 brand new and that included shipping.
