Notice to new members intending to register - from January 9th 2012

Please be aware that, due to difficulties arising from issues with Yahoo and AOL, we have changed our registration requirements.

Users with email addresses from yahoo.com, yahoo.co.uk and aol.com will no longer be able to use them to create a new account.
We have had a long-standing problems with these mail services and have found that it is almost impossible to send out account activations to new users who have Yahoo or AOL providers.

Please use an alternative email address; hotmail, gmail etc.

Just wanted to say hello. Found this site while trying to find information on the prison my son was sent to.

Not sure how long he will be there. Still waiting for some charges to be resolved.

Its been a difficult week to say the least.

Hi and welcome to PTO... I'm glad you found us... You'll want to check out the forum for the state your son is in or the federal forum if he's in the federal forum as well as the parents with children inside forum on PTO... ((hugs)) and stay strong... Lean on the members here as we've been thru "the first week".....

Hi Vtmother, Welcome to PTO. I'm sorry this week has been tough. I guess that's to be expected. I'm glad that you found us and joined early during you son's incarceration period. Some gals don't find us for years, and they struggle through their loneliness and heartache alone. Here at PTO, you'll find support, encouragement, and a great deal of helpful information on numerous topics. I hope you'll come to think of us as a new circle of friends and join us regularly. I think it truly helps to share experiences with folks who are going through similar experiences. I hope things go easy for your son, and I think the weeks ahead will slowly become easier for you too. Please take good care of yourself, SunnyChick
